HR Executive

We are seeking an HR Executive to help company’s senior management to develop and implement Human Resources strategies, staffing plans, employee benefits, training and developments in Kathmandu office.

Responsibilities

  • Working with recruitment agencies to source for candidates for specific job positions
  • Posting vacancies and maintaining on website, online portals and Social Media
  • Screening resumes and applications
  • Conducting first round of phone interview for the candidates to schedule interviews
  • Coordinating interviews with the hiring managers
  • Following up on the interview process status
  • Communicating employer information and benefits during screening process
  • Performing reference and background checks
  • Welcoming new employees to the organisation by conducting orientation
  • Communicating and explaining the organisation’s HR policies to the employees
  • Preparing and submitting all relevant HR letters/documents/certificates as per the requirement of employees in consultation with the management
  • Working with Accountant to process timely distribution of salary, bonus, increment salary slip, leave encashment and full and final settlements
  • Recording, maintaining and monitoring attendance to ensure employee punctuality
  • Maintaining and regularly updating employee database
  • Preparing letters such as offer, confirmation and resignation
  • Conducting exit interviews for employees and recording them accordingly
  • Reviewing job descriptions for all positions at regular intervals and updating them in consultation with the respective managers
  • Engaging with employees on a regular basis to understand the motivation levels of people in the organisation

Requirements

  • Must have academic background in Business Administration and Human Resource Management
  • 1+ year experience in HR management
  • Have a good knowledge of Web and App industry
  • Have a good understanding of web technology and required skills
  • Good understanding of recruitment process
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Outstanding verbal & written communications and organisational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, under pressure and meet tight deadlines
