Responsibilities

  • Convert PSDs to HTML5/CSS3
  • Build websites and applications using the latest technologies
  • Work closely with designers and project managers to achieve the best possible results in web projects
  • Consulting with UX/UI about the implementation of design
  • Producing perfect UI/UX design for mobile and web with a focus on responsive mobile-first design
  • Perform device and browser compatibility testing
  • Ensure all work adheres to current industry best practice
  • Self-­motivated, goal­-oriented and able to work in a team environment
  • Building and maintaining reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Happy to guide, mentor juniors & other team members
  • Convert PSD to WordPress directly using Page Builder (if required)

Requirements

  • 2+ years demonstrated professional experience
  • A deep understanding of the web and UX principles
  • Have a good knowledge of HTML5/CSS, JQuery and JavaScript including frameworks like AngularJS, ReactJS and/or VueJS
  • Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
  • Strong knowledge of web development tools
  • Must have an eye for design
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Experience with creating and testing responsive websites
  • Excellent attention to detail with pride in producing accurate work
  • Outstanding verbal & written communications and organisational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Be creative with a proactive and enthusiastic approach to your work
  • In-depth understanding of current industry development best practices
