Nirmal Web Studio is seeking a DevOps Engineer to collaborate with web developers to maintain and improve the existing server infrastructure to improve the workflow and process.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
2+ years of experience in System Engineering and Administration
Strong knowledge in maintaining, and managing Gitlab, CI/CD and git tools
Experience with using a broad range of AWS technologies (e.g. EC2, RDS, ELB, EBD, S3, VPC, Glacier, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS) to develop and maintain an Amazon AWS based cloud solution, with an emphasis on best practice cloud security
Hands-on experience in networking security, databases and cloud systems
Experience in Linux, Windows Server and Active Directory
Knowledge of configuration and maintenance of file servers and network infrastructure
Understanding network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP)
Responsibilities
Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing AWS cloud-based production system, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of productions systems
Maintain the Network and Server Infrastructure and carry out the daily routines & all other activities involved to ensure a fully functional network environment
Configure and maintain web servers for development, staging and live environment
Maintain and ensure security for the company and clients
Backup website applications time to time and assist the technical team to synchronise between local and live when required
Work closely with the technical team to assist with their server related issues
Respond to customer enquiries related to the web server and hosting issues
Assist technical team to manage and collaborate on code using Git repositories like Bitbucket
Provide assistance to the team on technical issues and maintain the operating system, hardware, software, internet and workstations for smooth operation and optimal system performance
